Spain
Electricians and metal carpenters are on the shortage occupation list, which shortens the process. The rest require the employer to prove no local candidates are available first.
United Kingdom
Five of the ten trades have a live visa route today: electrician, welder, plumber, HVAC and industrial mechanic. The other five only if you already hold the right to work. We tell you which case is yours before you start.
Saudi Arabia
The employer sponsors the visa and iqama. Since 2021 you also have to pass the Ministry of Human Resources skill exam: no foreign certificate replaces it, and without it there is no visa.
United Arab Emirates
The employer always sponsors. Watch the contract breakdown: your end-of-service gratuity is calculated on the basic salary only, not on housing or transport. We review it before you sign.
