Three ways to connect. You choose.

Booka adapts to the technological maturity and brand policies of each university. We don't force you to change your stack. We adapt.

Screen with API integration code
Mode A
API Integration
6 to 12 weeks

Your IT team integrates Booka's Recognition API into the existing student portal. The student never leaves your university. The entire experience runs under your domain, your brand and your design. Recommended for universities with their own IT team and strict brand policies.

Most chosen
Student using university portal
Mode B
White-Label Portal
7 to 14 days

Booka publishes a portal on your subdomain — e.g. recognition.youruniversity.edu — with your logo, colours and typography. Your IT team doesn't touch a single line of code. The student perceives the portal as part of your university. Recommended for launching in under two weeks.

University portal with embedded Booka link
Mode C
Embedded Link
1 to 3 days

A link or iframe inside your intranet, LMS or alumni portal. The student accesses a Booka environment with your university's co-branding. Recommended for pilots, specific programmes and universities that want to validate the product before a larger integration.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ · Education

What's the difference between what Booka offers and a traditional joint degree?

A traditional joint degree involves a bilateral agreement between two universities and the issuance of two academic degrees. Global Title Recognition is the infrastructure that allows your university to offer official international recognition of the degree you already issue, before the competent bodies of each receiving country. It is a legally distinct concept, operationally much faster and with no limit on counterpart universities.

Does the university retain control over which students access the service?

Yes. Each university defines eligibility rules: by programme, cohort, grade average, language, or any internal criterion. Booka applies those rules in the flow.

What are the technical requirements for each integration mode?

API Integration requires an in-house IT team that can consume a REST API authenticated with OAuth 2.0 and receive webhooks. White-Label Portal only requires the university to configure a subdomain in its DNS. Embedded Link requires permission to add a link or iframe to the internal portal.

How is billing structured: per student or by volume?

Mixed model: annual platform subscription plus fee per recognised student. The pricing band adjusts to volume and coverage. No public tariff disclosure.

How do we start a pilot?

With an initial 30-minute demo, a 2 to 4-week joint scoping phase, and a Mode B (White-Label Portal) launch that can be in production in 7 to 14 days from signing.
